I was honored to help photographer Peter Samuels realize his vision for his Fairytale Series which debuted at the prestigious 111 Minna Gallery.

The backgrounds were removed and replaced with a consistent grey backdrop to create a unified series. This necessitated creating a meticulous mask for the fur and feathers of the various animals. All of the shadows were repainted. Some of the animals had harnesses and handlers which were removed and replaced with logs or the grey backdrop. In various cases additional fur and feathers were photo realistically painted and other enhancements were done to amplify the true beauty and personality of each animal that Peter Samuels captured.
