Ransom & Mitchell created the Road Home as an interpretation of the classic medieval story of “The Pied Piper and the Children of Hamelin.”

To create the landscape backdrop and foreground meadow, the entire scene was sculpted & painted with a 3D CG program that allowed us to visualize many angles.

The actors were photographed individually and layered into the scene with compositing. Real trees and foliage were photographed at sunset. The *real* and *realish* elements were then visually merged with digital over painting.
