For the 2016 cover of the Reel Directory, Ransom & Mitchell went with a straight-foward, powerful concept that quickly communicated cutting edge film and photo production, yet continued to reward the viewer with a closer look.
The image was created by combining macro photography of a nebula-like iris of a human model, digital painting of a fanning camera lens, and CG generated eye veins and lashes, to create an all-seeing cyborg’esque eye.
