“The Clockwork Heart” is part of a Ransom & Mitchell “Living Hearts” series where we are creating images of whimsical anatomical hearts using all of the techniques in our creativity bag from CGI, to digital painting, and photographic compositing.
I created The Clockwork Heart using multiple 3D CG programs for sculpting and texturing. The 2D elements (the wallpaper and sparkles), plus the finishing work was done in Photoshop.
