Reel Directory 2014

PROCESS IMAGES

We shot a myriad of objects to composite into the scene. We joke that it's hard to stay "peppy" during this methodic process, but truth be told, we love every minute.

We shot the actress as both the villain and the hero. The villain (shown) was methodically color corrected to appear green as seen in the final image.

Jason and the super talent joking around on set. In our house, it ain't a party 'till someone gets shot with a ray gun.

Ransom & Mitchell created the cover image for the SF Bay Area local production guide. For this issue, we opted to show a rivalry between a villain who throws nothing but questions and the hero of the Reel Directory who has all the resources needed and who can solve any problem.

Much of this scene was created with practical photography of stationary objects. We then composited (and color shifted) these elements to ensure the scene felt dynamic and in-motion.
